What is your Self Worth?

It’s interesting how we put a value on our homes, cars, businesses, financial investments and various material things, but do we value ourselves?  When was the last time you checked in with your own inner bank?  When you think about it now,  how full is it?  In order to fill our inner bank we need to attend to many aspects of our lives.  Here is a mini list of inner fulfillment reminders;

*NO is a beautiful word.  Say it when you know it is the right thing for you.

*Take some quiet time to yourself everyday.

*In relationships, have boundaries with those that are prone to take more than they give and psychically drain you.

*Stop attempting to have emotionally connected relationships with love interests that are not able to connect emotionally.  You CANNOT and WILL NOT change  others, they have to want to change themselves.

*Hug and kiss your kids and your loved ones every time you think about it.

*Call a friend that you trust and vent,  and allow them to vent with you.  Relationships do require give and take, after all.  If no venting is needed, just call, just because.

*Pay attention to your intuition.  Your “gut” most often guides you in the direction you are meant to follow.  Don’t ignore it.

*Find employment/career that suits you, and one that allows you to feel productive and satisfied at the end of the day.

*Exercise to the level you feel comfortable, and choose a form that brings a smile to your face!

*Eat your fruits and veggies and take your vitamins and supplements everyday!

*Be kind and gentle with yourself and remember that you are worth every positive, nurturing action you take to fill your inner tank!

*And last, but certainly not least, incorporate a spiritual practice into your everyday life.  Pray, meditate, experience nature and our connectedness to it…LISTEN and pay attention to messages that come to you from God, angels, spirit guides, nature and all that speaks to you.  Be open and pay attention…

This list could go on and on…if any of my readers would like to add to the  list please feel free to do so.  Through support of each other we have a better chance of reaching our full potential!

In Love, Peace and Light,

  1. Cindy,

This is perfect information for the soul!
All that you wrote about leads one to their journey of self love.
I pray everyone who reads this walks away with something that will resonate with their inner self.
    It is Beautiful!

  2. Great post. Okay here is another one: No IS a beautiful word. When someone makes a request of us and we hesitate that usually means our gut it saying “no” right? Right. But not always… Sometimes I think we just need time to think about it. So give yourself that time and just say “can I get back to you on that?” There’s no rush, and then you can decide, when you have the space, how you want to spend your time and energy. Try it, it works wonders.

    • Great addition Louise! So true….when my girls ask me for certain things, and my mind is rambling with 20 other thoughts, I often say, “Let me get back to you on that”, esp. when they catch me off guard!
