Soul’s Journey

“Judge not, then, the karmic path walked by another.  Envy not success, nor pity failure, for you know not what is success or failure in the soul’s reckoning.”  ~Neale Donald Walsh, from Conversations with God

  1. Cindy,

I love this quote by Neale Donald Walsh.

    This is so true.
It is whatever the soul is to learn through life that becomes the success or failure of that soul.
Nobody can ever truly walk anothers path and have the same outcomes.
Each soul has its own chosen learning to accomplish while on the earth.
    To judge is to fear.
To pity is to not accept responsibility.
    Choice is everything.

  2. “To judge is to fear. To pity is to not accept responsibility. Choice is everything.” Poignant and the TRUTH, Maria! To pity is also not understanding that others have the ability to accept their own responsibility. Who’s to say that the man who lives under the tree is less fulfilled than the man who lives in the golden tower….and vice versa. Each path is our very own to live and to learn.

    • Yes, Yes, Cindy!!
When we pity others we take their spirit away to look deep within and ‘see’.
Empathy is a more healthy path to provide.
It creates a deep sense of compassion for the other and helps them accept themselves rather than pity themselves.

I love” the man who lives under the tree” and “the man who lives in the golden tower” analogy! The Absolute Truth! One might say the man living under the tree is a bit eccentric while the man living in the golden tower materialistic, but neither are true. It is what one chooses to find happiness for their own personal journey that counts!
