Surrender to You

Surrendering doesn’t mean giving it over to God or another entity to do the work for you.  Surrendering simply means releasing control of the outcome, doing the work necessary, and allowing all universal energy to do its work.  When we surrender we open up enough to accept the power of our intuitive selves to guide us in the direction that is meant for us.  It may not be the direction our minds would have chosen, but in the end you will find all falls into place in a way that you could never have imagined.  Created miraculously, with an outcome you never thought could have existed.  It’s amazing how that happens when we truly let go.

Focus on what it is you wish for in your life.  Sit quietly with your intention.  Release it with gratitude, do the work required, and watch it all unfold.

10 Tips to Push Depression and Anxiety Aside

1.  Exercise.  Move your body to the degree you are able; run, swim, take a brisk walk, dance, ride a bike, ride a horse, train in the gym, ski, move your arms and legs sitting in a chair.

2. Speak Up! Self expression is crucial in the release of feelings, self-respect and caring for yourself.  The more we address the less we repress!

3. Take a yoga class.  Yoga decreases blood pressure, calms your body and mind, and allows you to think more clearly.

4. Include Omega 3’s in your diet. Studies have revealed Omega 3’s decrease depression. In addition, a good whole foods multivitamin adds more nutrients to your diet.

5. Keep your spine in alignment. Follow up with your chiropractor.  An aligned spine clears all pathways through your brain stem, allowing you to think more clearly.  Not to mention, less body pain equals less depression/anxiety.

6. Meditate. Practice sitting in a quiet space at least a few minutes a day.  If your mind wanders bring it back to the present as you focus on  one thing.

7. Laugh! Laughter releases those wonderful endorphins that we experience in exercise.  Watch a funny movie, reminisce about comical times with family and friends, laugh at yourself, just laugh!

8. Make a habit of drinking your Green Smoothie. So many of us don’t get enough fruits and veggies in our diet.  Packing it all into one drink allows you to get a ton of nutrients in one sitting.  A healthy diet gives you more energy and promotes positive thinking.

9. Socialize! Make a point to spend time with like-minded, like-spirited people.  Positive contact lifts our own spirits!

10. Get your Sleep. So many of us are sleep deprived in our fast paced society.  Make it a point to get at least  7- 8 hours of sleep a night.  If you have difficulty falling asleep, take a warm bath before bed, read a book, put on soothing music, drink a chamomile tea…wind down and breathe….

11.  Okay, I’m squeezing in 11, Get a MASSAGE and pamper yourself at your favorite spa!

Trusting Intuition

‎”I could only do it by letting go and trusting—trusting that my intuition was right, that I would get the help I needed, and that things would unfold as they should.” – Peggy Rome

Trusting your intuition isn’t always easy.  We tend to second guess ourselves when we get that “feeling”.  Am I really able to reach that dream?  Why am I feeling like something isn’t quite right?  I am being told one thing and sensing something else.   Always trust your intuition.  It isn’t something that requires forcing,  just believe in its truth.  Go with your feeling, be true to yourself,  and all the rest will play out.  It WILL come to you.

When you follow the path you know is right and healthy for you people and projects will begin to fall at your feet.  It often requires patience and perseverance so be prepared to gather your strength and travel with it.  If you have a wish for your future, whether it be personal, professional or a simple project, keep it with you.  Write it down, step into it one day at a time and keep your mind and heart on your desire.  Manifestation is a powerful tool.  Use it and never give up.  If you turn off your path it’s never too late to get back on and allow the universe to work with you in reaching what is meant for you!  Just remember, the more you turn off your path, the longer it will take to reach your destination.  Your choice, your future.

What is your intuition telling you?  LISTEN and you just might find that HEART of gold at the end of your rainbow.
