Believe In Your Heart

A friend of mine sent me this poem today.  I thought it was so beautiful;  full of love, strength and trustWorthy to pass on.  Please take some time to truly read this, breathe it in and sit with the words.  We are all worth the energy to love and be loved. Believe in your heart, believe in yourself, believe that you are exactly where you are meant to be, right here, right now.  Be at peace….

Believe in your heart that
something wonderful is about to happen.
Love your life.
Believe in your own powers,
and your own potential,
and in your own innate goodness.
Wake every morning
with the awe of just being alive.
Discover each day the magnificent,
awesome beauty in the world.
Explore and embrace life in yourself
and in everyone you see each day.
Reach within to find your own specialness.
Amaze yourself and rouse those around you
to the potential of each new day.
Don’t be afraid to admit
that you are less than perfect;
this is the essence of your humanity.
Let those who love you help you.
Trust enough to be able to take.
Look with hope to the horizon of today,
for today is all we truly have.
Live this day well.
Let a little sun out as well as in.
Create your own rainbows.
Be open to all your possibilities;
all possibilities and Miracles.
Always believe in Miracles.

Have a lovely Monday and great week ahead, my dear friends !!

~In Love and Light, thank you Green Valley:)

  1. wonderful words to wake up to! It really helps to start the day looking around and realizing all the gifts you already have!
Here is a song I wrote recently while in France feeling joyful…hey I was in France on the Riviera!..what’s not to be joyful about!

    JOIE DE VIVRE capo 3

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a friend, that you could tell all your troubles to

Someone who knew exactly what was goin’ on inside of you

Oh wouldn’t it be nice to have a friend like that

Everybody, everywhere, needs to find a little joy in their life

Joie de vivre, joi de vivre, tout le monde, mes amis

Everybody, needs to find a little joy in their life

That mountain of laughter…from the ocean of tears

And that long road we’re on together….all these years

That mountain of laughter…from the ocean of tears

And that long road we’re on together….all these years

Well I want it……and I know you want it to

Joie de vivre , joie de vivre, tout le monde , mes amis

Joie de vivre , joie de vivre, tout le monde , mes amis

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain, now here come your friends

To bring you home again….just a little joie de vivre

    BRIDGE

That mountain of laughter…from the ocean of tears

And that long road we’re on….all these years

That mountain of laughter…from the ocean of tears

And that long road we’re on….all these years

Well I want it……and I know you want it to

    Joie de vivre , joie de vivre…just a little…just a little

    Joie de vivre……

    Sunshine , moonshine anything’l do

Mama let me bring a little joy to you

Catch a little smile and you’re on your way

Chase away the clouds and it’s a sunny dayyyyyyyy

…..of course the music helps to activate the feeling of the words more…but you get the message…
    Love you Cindy

    • Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful song Norm!! “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a friend that you could tell all your troubles to…someone who knew exactly what was goin’ on inside of you” Yes, wouldn’t it be nice? We should ALL have that in this world. If we can count 1 or 2 on our hand we are lucky. We all need someone to count on and feel genuine love and caring from. And…still waiting for a new CD from you!:) Of course, I would love Joie de Vivre on it! As you know, I wrote a post way back with the same title. Like minded spirits, bro! Love you!
